This popular residential area, with a paved walkway along the beachfront is perfect for jogging, cycling and socialising, and has great communal spaces and a beautiful coastline. Filled with many cool hangout spots along the promenade, you’re spoilt for choice with a variety of global cuisines as well as bars, watering holes and shops. Not only popular with tourists, the Sea Point promenade is also a local favourite spot. Sea Point is also home to Saunder’s Beach tidal pool, a natural sea pool originally named after the Graaf family, who bought a mansion on the beachfront in the early 20th century and adopted as a cruising ground between the ’60s and late nineties.

Sea Point on the slopes of Signal Hill lies large private villas with fabulous views of the Atlantic Seaboard. Then we have the famous Sea Point promenade which always draws all local and international visitors for walking, jogging or even just watching.
The hub of activity is Sea Point promenade which runs the length of Sea Point’s beachfront. The promenade is popular and is particular busy in the early morning where you will find some visitors jogging, or late afternoons to watch the sunset. There are also some children’s parks that run alongside the promenade and a swimming pool at the Pavilion.
Just a drive away from our Sea Point Accommodation, you will find the trendy beaches Clifton and Camps Bay and only a couple of minutes away lies the V&A Waterfront.
